Established in 1987 by Greg Davis and Mark Myers, New Leaf Florist has consistently provided customers with a wide variety of premium flowers and foliage from local and international growers. Creative Director Greg Davis’ mission is to keep the latest cutting-edge floral design styles and looks at the forefront of New Leaf Florist. This pursuit can be seen in everything we do – from wedding flowers to corporate installations.

In addition to floral design services, our 2500 square foot showroom features a beautiful selection of vases, ceramics, candles, indoor and outdoor accent pieces as well as event rentals that are available for your wedding. Our design staff has over 152 years of combined experience to plan all your events, including the wedding of your dreams.

What types of flowers do you carry and what is their availability?

We carry all types of flowers from garden flowers to tropicals to greenery. Keep in mind that many flowers are seasonal. If you decide that peonies are necessary for a winter wedding, they may be hard to find or very expensive. Our designers are here to guide you to find the loveliest flowers for the season they will be married in.

Is this realistic within my budget?

Flowers are a beautiful addition to a wedding. A bride can find florals for the budget, but she needs to be realistic when choosing florals. Purchasing in season flowers will always be a better value than out of season flowers. Some flowers are better in bouquets than others. Be prepared to ask your designer questions about color scheme, longevity, seasonal, and value for all your wedding florals.

What recommendations can you give me to maximize my budget?

To maximize your budget, be open to using seasonal flowers and what the florist already carries on a weekly basis. If we have to place an order from Holland, it could prove to be more costly than getting florals from California or Florida. However, if certain flowers or color choices are hard to find, that may also play into the budget. The earlier you consult with your designer/florist, the earlier they can scout for your flowers and get the order in.

How would you describe your design style?

New Leaf Florist strives to design wedding florals to meet your expectations. We have created everything from traditional to artistic floral designs and everything in between. We try to make sure that the florals provided are inspired by what you choose!

How far in advance do I need to secure your services?

The larger the wedding, the more advanced notice is required. Our designers need time to be creative so that we can provide the most gorgeous design for the event. Giving your designer 6 months to a year is more than enough to purchase flowers and have everything made and ready for delivery. Don’t forget, your designer could be working on several events at the same time.

When is the final payment due?

Final payment is due 2 weeks before the event date.

When should I finalize my order?

You should finalize the wedding florals 2-4 weeks before the date.

Are you available to do a venue walk-through before the wedding date? If so, do you charge a fee for this?

Yes, New Leaf Florist is happy to do a venue walk through with a client. At this time, New Leaf Florist doesn’t charge a fee for the walk through.

Who will be designing my arrangements?

The majority of the time, the designer who you have a consultation with will style the wedding arrangements. However, sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances which necessitates another designer becoming involved. Rest assured that any designer involved in the work will be aware of the design, flowers, and any other information needed to make sure your special day is perfect.

Do you offer specific packages or is everything customized?

Every event that New Leaf is involved with is customized.
